To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and The Queen Consort – 2023 the IDTA has produced a souvenir award.

This will be a separate award which can be gained along with any examination from 1^st May to 31^st December 2023.

For example: a candidate taking Grade 1 Ballet examination will receive the normal certificate and award but can also elect to have a Coronation Award 2023 on payment of an additional fee.

Simple to order

For Ballroom and Freestyle schools, we ask that principals write or print “EA” next to the candidates name on the timetable/results sheet for dance awards (formerly medal tests) and other awards. For Graded examinations please write EA in the top right hand corner of the report form.

For Theatre schools, we ask that principals write “EA” on the top right hand corner of the report forms.

The Coronation Award is a 7cm gold coloured diameter medal, boxed in a display case.
